Centre Of Healthy Brain Ageing (cheba)
Ashwini Durga Kumar is a 5th year medical student at the University of New South Wales with an interest in dementia research and geriatrics. She underwent her research year at the Centre of Healthy Brain Ageing (CHeBA) studying dementia in Australia's largest population-based centenarian study, the Sydney Centenarian Study. She has since presented her research topic on the protective effect of cognitive reserve in centenarians internationally in the University of Nottingham Malaysia.
