Agnes Houston MBE Nancy McAdam BEM Dr James McKillop MBE David Batchelor Scottish Dementia Alumni, a group of people who have each been living with different diagnoses of dementia for over ten years. They are experienced campaigners who have actively fought for the rights of people living with dementia for over a decadewith a great deal of success. They were trailblazers at a time, when the attitude towards people with dementia, was still in the dark ages, WE believed we had potential. Luckily, we had people who believed the same, and supported us to fulfil it . The Alumni Group are people who have had to learn how to manage their own lives during the unspecified timescale of the dementia journey. Lucy Robertson is a PhD student who is assisting with the writing, design, and submission of this poster. Paula Brown and Rose Mary Bowes support the Scottish Dementia Alumni with their research. The poster will contain images by Paul Thomas.
