Yaël Filipovic is the Public Engagement Manager at the Museum of Contemporary Art Australia. She works to create programming that inspires risk taking, experimentation and new ways of thinking. Bringing together artists and audiences, she programs for audiences at every stage of life. Flora Suen is the Digital Learning and Engagement Producer at the Museum of Contemporary Art Australia. She completed her MA Public History at the Freie Universität Berlin and has worked in the informal education sector for a decade, with a focus on participatory approaches. At the MCA she creates digital learning resources for students and teachers, as well as onsite learning programs where participants learn about the STEM subjects through the lens of contemporary art. Michelle Heldon is the Art and Dementia Coordinator at the Museum of Contemporary Art Australia. She has over 15 years of experience working in aged care and tailoring art activities for with people living with dementia. Michelle is a practicing Visual Artist based on the South Coast of Sydney and holds a degree in Fine Arts with Honours from the National Art School and a diploma in Art Therapy. She has travelled overseas and worked on art and health community projects in the UK, Greenland, Finland and Iceland. Her passion is working with the older generation, in particular; people living with dementia, and their care partners, to creatively explore self-expression and connection.
