Dr. Elizabeth Clark is an experienced academic with a background in speech pathology and linguistics. She has a keen interest in understanding how patterns of interaction impact on 'care' in various health and disabiity contexts. She has worked in various rehabilitation and disability settings in Australia and overseas, and has taught allied health students at a range of universities to focus on how to improve their interactions with people who have communication difficulties. Lois Cameron is an experienced speech and language therapist with many years experience managing services for adults and children with learning disabilities in Forth Valley NHS, and working as a researcher with the University of Stirling. Since September 2011, she has focused on improving the lives of people with communication difficulties through her work as a Co-director of Talking Mats - a social enterprise located at the University of Stirling in Scotland.
